I guess I should start by introducing everyone to our baby. This is Commodore Magnus Burkely or just Burkely as we like to call him. He is our english bulldog puppy. We picked him out when he was 4 weeks and approximately 3 lbs. He came home with us at 6 weeks and he was 7 lbs. Yesterday, we went to the vet for his 16 week appointment and rabies shot (The only shot that Momma Lacey was not allowed to give, who ever knew that nursing training would be so handy?!). He was 30 lbs!! He is a sweet little boy and we love him so much. He is definitely still a puppy because he bites and chews but mostly just on mommy. I guess daddy just doesn't taste as sweet. Burkely likes to spend his time going for walks around the neighborhood, eating mulch and concrete (yum!), swimming at grandpa and grandma burke's, and watching tv with mom and dad (he really does watch and he will most certainly growl if he doesn't like the show we're watching).
